When your baby or toddler wakes up too early, it's often the start of a busy day, am I right :)
Everyone loves their sleep and there is nothing wrong with that.
Here are some tips to help you shift your baby's schedule a little.
WHAT TO DO IF YOUR TODDLER OR BABY WAKES UP TOO EARLY.
IT CAN BE A ROLLER COASTER RIDE…
Most exhausted parents have only one goal in mind: getting a full night's sleep. This is understandable; after months (or sometimes years) of nighttime waking, a full night's sleep sounds like winning the lottery.
As soon as the milestone “sleeping through the night” is reached, the next challenge “getting up early” comes immediately.
FIRST OF ALL WE NEED TO ANALYZE.
What's the reason for getting up early? Does your baby never have a nap, or does it take one irregularly? Is the room very bright in the morning? Is the baby's room perhaps next to a street (little ones hear everything)?
Once you have cleared all the obstacles in the room, you can focus on the most important point: THE TIMING.
HERE ARE THE 3 MAIN REASONS FOR WRONG TIMING

- Amount of nap is too high
- 2 hours a day and 12 hours at night are perfect.
- Nap is taken too early
- The afternoon nap should end at least 4 hours before bedtime.
- Bedtime is too early/late
- For younger babies, a bedtime of 6 p.m. is perfect, for older babies around 7 p.m.
Treat early wakings like night wakings
What this means specifically is that if your baby wakes up too early, you should definitely try not to start the day yet. Try to handle it by trying to calm your baby (just like you would in the middle of the night). This requires a lot of patience, but it's worth it. Little rascals don't get used to getting up early; they instinctively know that they MUST go back to sleep. Once this pattern is ingrained, it's all the easier.
“Humans are creatures of habit”
Just avoid your baby getting upset in the morning and stay in the room as long as necessary. You have to think to yourself: This day has already started for you, but the next 364 could be different ;)
When it comes to actually getting up, you should establish a great morning routine. This means opening the curtains with a flourish, singing, and having fun with your little one. Be creative with it; it should just be very similar every morning.
